The Municipality of Rotterdam has sold Oleanderstraat 117 in Rotterdam to a private investor. The former school building from 1929 will be transformed into housing by the buyer.
The building has a gross rental area of approximately 1,800 m² and will be transformed into 15 homes. The apartments are all equipped with outdoor space and vary from 77 m² to 157 m².
The transformation of the building will give the ”de Bloemhof” district a major boost. The expected delivery date is mid-2022. The submitted transformation plan was also very positively received by NPRZ.
NPRZ is the National Program Rotterdam South, where the government, the municipality of Rotterdam, corporations, care institutions, school boards, the business community, the police and the Public Prosecution Service are working on a healthy future for Rotterdam South. Together, these partners want to ensure that education level, labor participation and living quality increase in 20 years to the average of the four major cities in the Netherlands.
