A collaboration between Mulvesta and Unifore has bought the retail space at 2 Beijerlandselaan in South Rotterdam from Havensteder, a housing corporation in the core of the Rotterdam metropolitan region. The retail space, of approx. 5,300 m² GFA, divided over the ground floor and 1st floor, is fully let on a long-term basis to Mediamarkt.
The Beijerlandselaan is an elongated shopping area, with a large-scale MediaMarkt located at the top, with a parking garage. The Municipality of Rotterdam has plans to upgrade Beijerlandselaan and Groene Hilledijk in addition to the large-scale development of Feyenoord City. Due to these developments, both areas will reinforce each other, with the MediaMarkt being perfectly positioned between both areas.

Feyenoord City will be one of the largest area developments in the Netherlands with a program of 592,000 m². 3,700 homes will be added, as well as shops, restaurants and many public facilities such as parks and sports fields. The development of Feyenoord City is a positive impulse for the Rotterdam-South district and, together with the improved connections and connection to the Beijerlandselaan, will be positive for the current shopping area.
