At the end of 2019, the Laurens Foundation has rented 3,500 m2 of office space in the ‘Eastpoint’ building, located at GH Betzweg 1 in Rotterdam Alexander, next to the train station of the same name. Laurens merges seven offices at this new location and has committed itself for many years.
Laurens is one of the largest providers of elderly care in the Rotterdam region. The foundation wants to merge all supporting departments at its new location in order to make mutual cooperation even more efficient. The choice fell on Eastpoint because of the appropriate image for the organization.
Eastpoint was recently thoroughly renovated by owner Bryant Park Netherlands Acquisition I BV, resulting in a modern and beautiful office building that offers plenty of space for a new and modern work concept. Laurens wants to create a functional working environment here that encourages collaboration and thus can properly support the care services of the institution. The very good accessibility for all employees was also of great importance in making this choice.
Thousands of elderly people in Rotterdam and the surrounding area rely on Laurens’ care every day. More than 6,000 involved healthcare professionals are committed to this every day. Laurens helps people to live as independently and meaningfully as possible when they get older, recover from an illness, live with a permanent disability or are in the last phase of life. In their own way, in their own environment and using their own possibilities as much as possible.
Laurens is there for the elderly of all cultures, ages and backgrounds. In the work, the wishes and possibilities of the customer are central. Laurens asks how the customer is used to living and what he or she thinks is the most important. She takes care of that with care. Laurens does not do this alone, but together with the people around the customer and other care providers such as the general practitioner, specialist or practitioner.
BNP Paribas Real Estate Advisory Netherlands BV advised the landlord as asset manager and was supported by BRiQ real estate as letting agent.
