Greenport Rotterdam recently acquired the industrial building of the former Botleks Stores, at Botlekweg 113-115 in Rotterdam, for strategic expansion. Greenport Rotterdam is part of Landmark Europe and was created after the purchase of a former Damen Shiprepair shipyard in Pernis in 2019.

As part of its sustainability mission, Greenport Rotterdam intends to undertake a high-quality renovation and modernisation of the acquired industrial building to create a one-stop shop and project facility for maritime professionals.

The start of the renovation work is planned for mid-2023 and after completion it will be used by, among others, HEBO Maritieme Services. HEBO is already based in Rotterdam and is thus expanding its activities.

The purchase is in line with Greenport Rotterdam’s future vision to make the port of Rotterdam more sustainable and realise the core value of being CO2 neutral by 2024. The large-scale renovation and sustainability of the site will contribute to the energy transition of the port of Rotterdam.

Greenport Rotterdam was assisted in the transaction by BRiQ real estate. Landmark Europe is a private investor with a strong focus on developing and operating real estate properties in the Rotterdam port area.
