From Land Acquisition to Long-Term Leasing
For our client Progam Vastgoedontwikkeling, BRiQ Real Estate managed the entire commercial process surrounding the development of a new industrial and logistics building in Zwijndrecht. From the purchase of the plot to the conclusion of the lease agreement with end-user Koning & Hartman, BRiQ provided commercial advice and support to Progam.
The development site, approximately 4,500 m² of land, was acquired from the Municipality of Zwijndrecht. In close collaboration with Progam, we designed a commercial building optimally aligned with market demand. A key principle was that Progam developed the building for its own portfolio and wished to retain ownership of the property.
Strategic Positioning and Successful Leasing
The building, with a total area of approximately 2,850 m², was actively marketed by BRiQ and presented to potential tenants. Ultimately, we secured Koning & Hartman – a leading technology company and wholly owned subsidiary of the French Vinci Group – as tenant.
Throughout the commercial negotiation phase with Koning & Hartman, BRiQ fully supported Progam. This resulted in the successful signing of a long-term lease agreement. Since 1 June 2024, Koning & Hartman has been based at this new location, which also serves as their headquarters.
BRiQ
With our in-depth market knowledge, proactive tenant engagement, and strategic advice at every stage of the process, BRiQ contributed to a future-proof investment for Progam Vastgoedontwikkeling and suitable accommodation for an internationally operating tenant.
