Havensteder completes the sale of 89 homes in Krimpen aan den IJssel.

Havensteder has sold the ‘Crimpenersteyn’ residential portfolio to Waalstede Vastgoed, a private investor based in Rotterdam. The portfolio was sold through a public tender process.

The portfolio comprises 89 residential units, including 74 gallery apartments and ground-floor units and 15 single-family homes, spread across six adjacent residential complexes in Krimpen aan den IJssel.
The total gross floor area amounts to approximately 5,400 sqm GFA.

The divestment aligns with Havensteder’s strategy to free up capital for investments in renovation and new construction, enabling the housing association to maintain the quality of its portfolio while continuing to address future housing demand.

Waalstede Vastgoed is a well-capitalised and reliable real estate company, active in the acquisition, management and (re)development of real estate across various segments, with a strong focus on the Rotterdam region.

“A public sales process requires a flawless transaction file and full compliance with all requirements related to the sale of social housing. When that level of diligence results in a financially successful transaction for all parties involved — as in this case — our objective has been achieved,” said Wijnand de Ruiter of BRiQ.

The transaction was advised and executed by BRiQ.
