Marcan Vastgoed acquires retail portfolio in central Rotterdam.

Marcan Vastgoed has acquired a retail portfolio in the centre of Rotterdam from Westpoint Groep. The portfolio comprises nine fully leased retail units with a total floor area of approximately 2,850 sq m, located at the Oppert, Sint-Laurenshof and Binnenrotte, in close proximity to the Meent. Tenants include, among others, Golazo, Wijnkoperij De Gouden Ton, KEET Rotterdam and Dirk van den Broek.

The retail area surrounding the Meent has developed in recent years into one of Rotterdam’s prime hotspots, offering an attractive mix of boutique fashion and footwear stores, design shops, and high-end daytime and evening hospitality.

Marcan Vastgoed focuses on the qualitative enhancement and long-term development of retail locations, with a particular emphasis on the city centre of Rotterdam.

This acquisition therefore aligns seamlessly with Marcan’s expansion strategy and existing portfolio.

The purchaser was legally advised by Fisherman Advocaten, while DEBTA provided financial advisory services. The transaction between seller and purchaser was facilitated by BRiQ.
