United Marine Service Group BV (UMSG) recently concluded a long-term lease with Greenport Rotterdam BV for approximately 1,460 m2 of industrial space in combination with approximately 585 m2 of office space and 42 parking spaces located in the surrounding outdoor area. UMSG is thus establishing itself at the maritime complex of the same name, located in the heart of the port of Rotterdam.
Greenport Rotterdam has been transformed in the past 1.5 years into a high-quality maritime service and maintenance complex. The complex, which is one of the longest existing and also largest shipyards in Rotterdam, is strategically located and has a direct connection to the sea and hinterland. It consists of more than 9 hectares of land, 12 hectares of water, 860 meters of slope, ten jetties with lengths up to 280 meters, various berths for dry docks and eight industrial halls. The location offers space for outfitting, conservation and storage of onshore and offshore infrastructure with lifting capacity up to 800 tons and roll-on-roll-off facilities up to 5,000 tons.
Other companies that have established themselves in the complex include HEBO Maritiemservice, Damen Shiprepair Van Brink Rotterdam, NKT Cables, Rijkswaterstaat Zee en Delta, IHC and Qargo Packers.
